Would be incredible! I do expect the Celtics to win tomorrow though, on the home floor with almost every supporting Cav stinking it up whilst LeBron runs himself into the ground with no real main line of support. Surely they are too well coached to lose this one to LeBron and maybe 1-1.5 other guys showing up if he is lucky, Lue has just no fucking clue about player management also and changing up match ups. Like WTF has the dude been doing with fucken JR, especially in Boston. DRAG HIS ASS!!
Put fucking Cedi on or something, who gives a shit it can't get any worse, have a crack you moron. He puts out Nance and Clarkson in game 5 and they played well for like the 4 mins he gave them (esp Nance), then he just abandoned it because........WHY DID HE ABANDON IT. Nance has been reasonable for them though, like given the smattering of inconsistent minutes he has been getting he has been giving it everything anyway.
UGH.
Yeah and assuming the Celtics win, I'm gonna be praying to god that Houston (somehow) win because Warriors/Celtics is going to be just as painful to watch, especially when the Warriors wipe the floor with their inexperience and everyone will just be all *shrug* they are young next year with Kyrie and Gordon they will win!!!!!)*&(U*)Y@!!
The funny thing is the Celtics may struggle to insert them both into the team next season (at the start of the season anyway) and there will be so many over the top reactionary calls for trades etc, it'll be madness.
So yeah, back to tomorrow... Iif the Cavs lose tomorrow......I hope LeBron leaves, he doesn't owe them anything and I don't really wanna see him have to keep putting in all this effort for basically no return aside from having a sore back. He needs to join Houston or build a competitive squad over the next few seasons before his ring earning time runs out. I can't see LeBron fading out his career with a heavily reduced role and can imagine him pulling the plug before we see him regress to really notably lower levels, so I need to see him go somewhere that makes it happen for him within the next 1-2 years.
Can you imagine if even this Cavs team had 1 dependable All Star and 1-2 solid fringe All Stars, they would actually be a chance....but it's just not going to happen in Cleveland without a bit of luck/stupidity on some GM's part. But that is what makes the Warriors so tough (annoying) like you said, Durant doesn't show up it's Curry and Klay, one of them also doesn't show up....the others got this till the next quarter when they do. It is just crazy how bad Durant has really been playing, with his shitty shot selection and obviously little to no assists it is a travesty he is likely gonna get his 2nd ring this year.
Rant end. For now.

What a crazy game, was ugly af for most of it but thank god for Green stepping up and helping out some <3 I found myself halfway through it realising how bad I actually wanted LeBron to keep his streak, plus also was thinking if the Celtics make it and get swept people will just shit on him more haha. So yeah I was screaming at the TV in the 4th like a chump, shouldn't have worried really. Come on HOUSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please. No? Fuck....but, please. Catch that interaction between LeBron and Gilbert PTP? He is so gone.

Yeah that was just depressing in the end, they are so gonna get smoked in game 2 also.
That was the chance to fuck with their heads and everything, Durant plays like shit and is carried by the others, he will likely carry the others in game 2 to show how ridiculous the Warriors are.
Fuck me they got some calls also when it mattered most, and yeah ugh lets not talk about that shit at the end.
Poor LeBron man.

These journalists targeting Steven Adams for not playing for NZ need to fuck off and die. It's getting bloody tiresome! Like just give it a rest and stop shitting on him. Anyway, what do we think about the rumoured Kawhi, Lebron, George Big 3 at the Lakers? Surely it's gonna take a mega deal before Pop agrees to trade Kawhi away, especially to a West team, and the Lakers of all teams.

Yeah I've been saying for years people need to stop getting their hopes up, he will legit only possibly play for us in the Olympics or World Championship. It's that simple. I'm not happy about this Lakers talk, but surely this will be super hard to pull off. LeBron at the Lakers is going to hurt either way if it happens *sigh*
Don't do me like this LeBron.

Apparently the Lakers have offered Ingram, Kuzma, Hart and 2 future 1sts for Kawhi!

If there was truth to that and the Spurs didn't take it they are legit fucking morons, surely not. I suspect the Lakers (if they get LeBron) will simply low-ball the Spurs much more than that.
I wish LeBron would sign another 1-1 and the Cavs would just rent Kawhi off the Spurs for a year to see what happens, it'd be their last chance to win for a while anyway if LeBron was set on leaving to retire in LA.
Looks like DJ is off all but off to the Mavs, given his salary this was a pretty good move for the Clips. I'll miss his effort (and health) but it had to happen eventually. LOL @ the talk of him joining the Warriors for like 5m/yr, come the fuck on.

Well that's PG staying at OKC, I'm happy for them DeAndre agreeing to a 1 year deal at the Mavs is interesting, I thought for sure he would be seeking out a maybe 15-17mil a year longer term deal there but OK. Good for him also Rockets paying CP3 40m+ in 4 years time is a little bit of a worry for them hah.

PG stays with the Thunder but they cant improve their roster until the Melo contract comes off the books. I guess Lebron wouldnt answer his phone calls lol

Many are thinking they will stretch Melo, but IMO they should just ride it out with him this season and if he is a bitch/won't accept a reduced bench role, Deng his ass.
If only they could move his contract somewhere with a pick for someone that works. I have no idea who that is or what team he would even consider waiving his NTC for but if he for sure is not happy just fading away on OKC's bench then he might be more receptive to a move this season to prove his worth for at least a reasonable deal the next.
I get stretching him tax wise, but that salary is going to linger for a long time on the books when trying to take advantage of the 2nd/3rd years of PG's contract in the Westbrook/PG/Adams/Roberson/Grant group.
God every now and again they tease Kawhi to the Clips and I get excited that Jerry has pulled off something unthinkable....lols.

Both?
I'm still surprised he did it. I know that was the talk for a whole year but it's just a weird one. I guess he's approaching a different phase of his career (even though his level of play suggests otherwise).

More setting himself up for the future I guess? They may rent Cousins for a year and sign Kawhi as a UFA next year. Although Cousins isnt due back till Feb I think?

Ahh fuck it haha. It's gonna be so tough to put the Lakers hate aside, but I'm gonna have to given I like LeBron more.
I think they wait on Kawhi and hope it works out (I assume they will wink wink nudge nudge have a plan in place regardless), I really hope they don't sign Cousins at all.
Lance signed with them, AND JAVALE hahahahahaha. Good Lord.
Just put some good above average pieces around him and Kawhi in 2 years and it'll be fine.

They re-signed Caldwell-Pope for 1 year so they're keeping their cap space free for next year, either way. I had to laugh at Lance, and then McGee haha. Lebron will have McGee glued to the bench if he does any dumb shit

I think he wants to try some new blood thining medication lol. But I dunno how much is people just trying to get hits on their stories lol.
I saw the thing on Sportscenter about the cap. They cant fit anyone else om good money in now. And to get Kawhi they'd have to trade every young guy they had. Probably better to wait for next season.
I also read the Spurs asked Philly for 2 players and 3 future firsts. Starting high I see lol

GFL, Philly aren't going to rent Kawhi. I don't think anyone is, the only team that would have would have been the Cavs if LeBron signed another 1-1.
It's gonna get weird in San Antonio, but TBH they should take whatever shit deal the Lakers offer them (within reason) if they want any sort of return for Kawhi, because at some point they are just going to realise that they are just delaying the inevitable and may as well get something for him. If they are set on not doing Lakers they should wait till the trade deadline though, you never know what might happen and someone might take a run at it.
Dragging in a big name with Kawhi in year 2 would be so fucking crazy for the Lakers, add in some GSW (and likely Rockets) decline with contract issues over the next few, oh boy.
