Thought it would have been real funny (obv not for their fans) if the Panthers had lost by 38 points tonight and ended up missing the finals.
I think the Dragons are a bigger threat to whoever they play in the finals series than the Cowboys so for that reason alone I hope they make it.
3 horse race for mine. And that's only cos 2 of those teams have to end up on the opposite side of the draw.

We can still avoid the spoon, beat the Sharks by 20 and then the Warriors win by 20!

Haha Lafai what have you done?!
Kinda feel for the Dragons, promised so much and looked so good earlier in the season. Hope they manage a comeback in the short time remaining...

Remember after Round 8 when the Dragons were leading the comp and we still expected them to fade away and miss the finals. Cowboys fans right now:

Haha would have hated watching that as a Dragons/Cowboys fan.
So glad Foran and Johnson are out, cause I had a feeling the Warriors were finally gonna turn up.

Remember after Round 8 when the Dragons were leading the comp and we still expected them to fade away and miss the finals. If they hadn't unceremoniously deleted our forum, I could've quoted our conversation where I said they hadn't played a top 8 team yet and would slowly drop down #bitter Gee the Warriors really are awful when they lose a bit of confidence. Is that 9 loses in a row now??

If they hadn't unceremoniously deleted our forum, I could've quoted our conversation where I said they hadn't played a top 8 team yet and would slowly drop down #bitter I was going to say the same thing in my post. I can't even go back and check if I'd correctly predicted the final ladder standings from back in March. Warriors better go on a quality forward recruiting spree during the off-season because as talented as that spine is (when they're not all injured), the forward pack is soft AF. And as much as I hate to 'blame the coach', Kearney trying to mold us into Melbourne v2.0 is zero buys. Probably our worst season in terms of on-field progression since the mid 2000's when we were running 15th. Just glad it's over. Start next season slow and I'd say Kearney is gone.

Apparently the Warriors have signed Adam Blair and Gerard Beale #bros

I feel for the Warriors, hard for them to make good signings.
Haven't seen too much of Beale this season, but he always surprises me. I don't know how much Blair has left in him though, apparently he's a really hard trainer so you'd think he'd make a positive impact off the field. Sort of thing the Warriors need.... but then you could have thought the same about Hoffman. Lol nvm.

Apparently the Warriors have signed Adam Blair and Gerard Beale #bros Meh, spose Blair is at least a name forward that can give us a start. If he's motivated once he gets over here. Beale is nothing special. Like Ayshford, he's fine defensively and can put his winger into space, but without solid attacking halves around him I can't see him generating much attack.

Hopefully Blair shows up, he hasn't been too bad in recent seasons but transferring that to the Warriors is never a given. Beale is meh, like hes not terrible but he isn't going to make that much of an impact IMO.

The best thing about Beale is his utility value. Can plug him in most places in the backline but yeah...average.
Blair is a prime candidate to slack off now that he's at the Warriors.

I wouldn't say happy, I wouldn't have minded having a crack at him for the right price. Just think it's one of those cases where a player goes to a solid clu to resurrect his career and then signs somewhere else and goes back to his old ways.

Blair already showing that he'll fit in well to the Warriors defensive structure next year.

No, no, no, no, no.
What a game. <3 Finals footy.

Warriors understand that they need some PROPS, right?! Hope they got Hiku cheap.

Warriors getting all the wrong players, but it's all they can get.
Been sick, so have been able to watch a lot more league than usual. Couple of tight games, not very high quality though.
I'm so envious of the Storm culture. Just love the way Cronk and Smith get everyone into a huddle at every opportunity, always talking; and their teammates always listening. The complete opposite of what I see from the Tigers. Professional club throughout.

Sucks for Manly but I'm happy to go with the on-field official. Had he sent it up as no-try, it would have been no-try.
Moylan back next week? Lol.
Cam Smith, 356 games - what a legend. Can easily see him playing another 2 years so he should get to 400 barring any significant injuries. <3

Wow the quality of these finals so far has been crazy compared to the regular season.
I used to not like Smith at all but he's probably the 2nd best player I've seen after Joey.

I wasn't totally convinced it didn't flick his finger also a little (on the one front on angle they didn't slo-mo as usual) but yeah given the send up rules it was inevitable. Could hear JR chuckling with that Uate knock on at the end Yeah go ahead and try a higher risk pick up in the last 2 mins down 6 deep in your half dude, hah. I took Manly to make the 8 @ $3 earlier in the season when people were shitting on them a little so they owed me nothing, I kind of hoped they won because of that and I did think they would provide a sterner test for Brisbane, but oh well good on Penrith, hopefully they can step up again next weekend. Looking real good for the Roosters to make the GF.

Was happy to see Manly lose. Walker seems like a real prick - and he knows no one can hit him.

Funny you should mention that, about 70 minutes in I was thinking he had done well but that his errors seem to come at the worst times. Sure enough... I want him to do well though so was a bit of a shame.
