So Nofo is out for the season with an ACL injury - he has been playing with busted knee all season. Amateur hour. On top of that, we release two wingers who were on fire in NSW Cup - I understand we were never going to be able to keep them, but to let them go mid-season was an absolute moronic thing to do. Now both our starting wingers are out, with Pat Richards also likely to be out for at least a couple of weeks... we have nothing on the wings. So we put Keith fucking Lulia on the wing. Simona is meant to return this week, but if that doesn't happen we have no spark at all in our outside backs, with the exception of Moses, but he's a rookie.
When we get our creative players back, we lose our finishers. And vice versa.
Our season is going downhill fast. Again due to injuries. 2-3 years of disgustingly bad luck, or useless management? I just don't know.
lol@nzpwi.

Some bad luck for sure, but getting rid of Koroibete mid-season was crazy.
Apart from a couple of backs out your team for this week looks decent enough on paper. I give you a decent shot of the upset actually.

Kiwis wound me up so much yesterday, fuck that was frustrating as hell to watch At least they did get there.

Was a really shit game, the Kiwis played terrible, yet Samoa couldn't capitalize. Samoa's defense held for as long as it possibly could, but you always thought the Kiwis were going to sneak home and sure enough they did. They didn't deserve to tho, the Samoans would have been absolutely gutted after that, they were by far the better team. How good was that Leilua try?

We got denied two fair tries yesterday, had to laugh at the Samoan coach complaining about the penalty count when it only finished up 10-7. We didn't play great by any means but it doesn't mean we didn't deserve to win. I got a good laugh out of Joey sitting SKD on his ass though.
Aussie lucky to get home, that last try obviously controversial, and I was struggling to view it objectively having Aussies 1-12. I do think the ball was already on its upward trajectory though, but I can see both arguments. Sione had a nice debut which was good.

Yeah we were denied 2 in the first half, and Samoa were offside for the last 30 mins.
The no try call today was going to be tough either way. Makes next week more exciting. Samoa might test Aussie.

I don't see how they could definitively say the ball was in the air when Hall touched it, but at the same time you couldn't guarantee he had grounded it so that was a tricky situation for sure. Altho if you're admitting he got his hand to the ball it's hard to say that he didn't ground it as it wasn't exactly airborne from Inglis' poor attempt at diffusing the situation. It was more just slowly rolling along the ground. Kangaroos are probably lucky there's no more benefit of the doubt.
Hope Samoa can shock Aussie next week, but I really doubt it now. Samoa will be down about two tough losses and Kangaroos will ride this win and be confident. Kiwi's vs England has me excited!

I think Aussie will make short work of Samoa after these two shitty performances, i really hope the bookies give Samoa too much credit Oh and yeh, the England game is gonna be quite tense. <3 Be interesting to see what start they get..

This would be so fucking typical of the Warriors if they failed to even make it out of the pool.

Warriors have looked average this tournament. This is probably the year they'll win by timing their run instead of peaking early.

Johnson saving our ass again!!
It doesn't really seem like any team has consistency this tourney. Even the stronger teams like the Cowboys and Rabbitohs have lost games they should have won.
Just gonna be which team turns up on field at the time.

Haha Raiders rested Jarrod Croker and Waqa and still got through  That plan backfired.
Playing the Raiders is so gonna get the Warriors into form...

Didn't the tourney organizers hype last year that Slater and Thurston would be playing Nines in 2016?! Have they even had a game or are they just over here for a holiday and moral support?

Gee the Raiders just didn't give a fuck at all. Didn't even try short kickoffs to get the ball back when they needed to score

Sucks 'cos it would have made the last round more interesting if Manly had lost and the Raiders were still alive.
How the Warriors can be the complete antithesis of the All Blacks is beyond me. The latter never give up and refuse to lose, the former find a way to lose even when they're winning. It's incredible.
Ryan Hoffman must be like yea thanks for the NZ experience but fuck this Warriors shit, I'm outta here after next week.

Not that it matters cause the Storm are giving us a lesson right now...
